I can't remember exactly where I first came across the work of Nancy Ramirez, the artist and designer behind Cozamia, but I'm so happy that I did. Cozamia holds a special place in my mind because this is where I purchased my first big piece of artwork for my very first studio apartment in Manhattan, this Brittle Stars on Blue print below.

I matted this print in white and custom-framed it in a cool gold finish instead of black to really make the blues and golds pop. It's currently hanging here in the dining area of our new place.

I was drawn to Nancy's design for its pattern, symmetry and color. She mixes both traditional and digital methods of design in her art creating bright and stunning statement pieces that definitely strike up conversations.

My second Cozamia purchase was her Water Lilies print. Again drawn to the beautiful colors and unique and unexpected patterns, I recently added the piece to this cozy corner in my home.

Clearly you can see that I'm not afraid of mixing patterns and colors! But I love how fresh and clean all of these look together.

Below are some of my other favorite pieces from Nancy's gallery including her newest piece, White Horse. I'm all about collecting different types of artwork and photographs by different artists, but part of me just wants to fill my walls with color and nature from Cozamia.

Do any of these prints speak to you?  Let us know in the comments. AND if you have your eye on one, you're in luck, because Cozamia is offering 30% off artwork with the code SPOOK30 RIGHT NOW! Don't miss out.
